Connectors

Claude

Enable Ramp in Claude through the connector directory or a custom remote MCP connector.

Claude supports remote MCP connectors. Use the Ramp connector when it is available in Claude's directory, or add Ramp as a custom connector with the MCP URL.

Enable the Ramp connector

  1. Open the Ramp connector in Claude's directory.
  2. Click Add to Claude and follow the prompts.
  3. Authorize against your Ramp workspace in the browser OAuth flow.

Add a custom connector

If you are using custom connectors, add Ramp with:

https://mcp.ramp.com/mcp

Claude custom connectors are remote. localhost servers are not reachable from Claude unless you expose them through a public HTTPS tunnel. Ramp's production and demo servers are already hosted.

Use demo data

The one-click link connects to production. To explore with sample data instead, skip the one-click and add Ramp as a custom connector:

Settings -> Connectors -> Add custom connector, using the demo URL https://demo-mcp.ramp.com/mcp.

Reconnect

If the connection drops or tools look stale, disconnect and reconnect Ramp in Settings -> Connectors.

Using Claude Code (the terminal agent) rather than Claude? Connect it via MCP setup or the Ramp CLI.
