Connectors
Connectors overview
Connect Ramp to Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity through MCP.
Connectors are the easiest way to put Ramp inside the assistant you already use. Under the hood, they connect to the Ramp MCP server and authorize through Ramp OAuth.
Available connectors
| Runtime | Best path |
|---|---|
| Cursor | One-click deeplink or ~/.cursor/mcp.json |
| Claude | Claude connector directory or custom remote connector |
| ChatGPT | ChatGPT app or Developer Mode connector |
| Perplexity | Perplexity connector or custom remote MCP connector |
Terminal agents connect differently. Use MCP setup for Claude Code remote MCP, or use the Ramp CLI when the agent has shell access.
After enabling
Once a connector is authorized, ask the assistant for a concrete Ramp task:
Show me my recent Ramp transactions and group them by vendor. Can I use my software fund for a $240 Cursor renewal?Generate Agent Card credentials for this checkout, capped at $240.The assistant acts with your Ramp permissions. Writes, where available, are audited in Ramp.
Reconnecting
If tools go stale or auth drops, disconnect and reconnect Ramp in your client's connector settings. See Troubleshooting for the per-client steps.
