Sign up for Ramp

What to know before signing up for Ramp with an agent.

Pricing, limitations, and what to know before using an agent to sign up with Ramp.

How it works

Signup runs through the Ramp CLI using the apply-to-ramp skill — any agent that can run the CLI can drive it (there's no MCP path for signup yet). Your agent:

  1. Asks which email should receive the Ramp application invite, plus your business details (legal name, website, address; EIN if you already have one).
  2. Creates the application and sends the invite. You open the invite email and complete the browser sign-in — the agent can't do this step for you.
  3. Tracks progress with ramp applications progress and surfaces any follow-ups (documents, identity verification) for you to complete.

No US entity yet? The agent can file one first — see Incorporate a US LLC.

Pricing

There are no application or setup fees. Ramp offers free and paid plans — see pricing for details. If you have a US business entity and an EIN, tell your agent you want to sign up and approval typically takes minutes.

Need to incorporate first? If you don't have a US business entity yet, your agent can form a US LLC for you. Read docs →

Limitations

  • Browser required. The agent opens a browser for OAuth. Fully headless signup is not supported.
  • Domain match. Your business website domain should match your email domain. Mismatches are flagged for confirmation.
  • Follow-ups. Ramp may request documents or identity verification that the agent surfaces but can't complete for you.
